Synopsis

When Shen Qingdai, the master of Medicine King Valley, returns to claim the stolen "Qing Nang Jing," she confronts Marquis Gu Chongyuan of Northern Town. The marquis's concubine, Liu Ruyuan, secretly hoards a fragment of the scroll to breed poison insects and schemes against the legitimate daughter, Gu Wanning. Shen Qingdai uncovers the plot, teams up with Jinyiwei official Lu Han to expose the truth behind the insect poison, punishes the treacherous concubine, and rescues the victimized young girl.
